Power switcher X4 is innovative, high output, smart power strip, with 4 independently controlled sockets. Designed by reef keepers specifically for reef keeping devices. Power switcher X4 allows you to turn any reef aquarium equipment into a smart device and control it remotely via Smart Reef app. Circulator, skimmer, lighting and even pumps – now all can become a part of your smart home ecosystem.

Most popular scenarios for Power Switcher X4 from Advanced Reefers
- As a delay of the skimmer after a power interruption, so that contaminants do not end up in the aquarium water.
- As a skimmer pause during feeding or when changing the water in the aquarium.
Level sensor
- When the water level is too high, the Power switcher will switch off the power supply to the automatic skimmer.
- When the water level is below the range, the power switcher will switch on the automatic water filler.
- As an additional safety feature, third-party automatic water fountains, when the level sensor detects too high a water level, can cut off the electro-valve.
Smart Feeder
- For the duration of the feeding, Power switcher X4 will switch off the power supply to the connected appliances for a specific period of time.
Base Pump
- Stopping the operation of a third-party pump.
KH keeper
- If the KH keeper measures KH values above or below the range, it can change the power mode of the outlet: switch it off for a certain time or switch to sequential mode. Depending on the design of the calcium reactor.
Smart Tester
- If the value of the measured parameter is above or below the range, it can change the power mode of the outlet: switch it off for a while or switch to sequential mode.
pH Meter
- If the pH is too low, the Power switcher will switch on the water circulation devices.
