Common Name: Maidenhair Fern
Adiantum sp., commonly known as Maidenhair Fern, is a delicate and elegant tropical plant admired for its lacy fronds and slender, dark-colored stems. Its delicate light green foliage brings a touch of natural grace. It thrives in bright, indirect light and high humidity.
While they are not traditional aquarium plants, some aquarists have experimented with incorporating them into riparium setups, where the plants' roots are submerged, but their leaves remain above water. This approach can mimic their natural habitat conditions and provide the necessary humidity for the ferns to flourish. However, fully submerging Maidenhair Ferns is not advisable, as they are sensitive to overwatering and may not survive being submerged.
This Madenhair Fern comes ready to place, pre-attached to a moss-covered piece of driftwood.
